When to use Discover

Discover is the guided setup path where Flora learns enough context to support the team well. It is most useful when you want Flora to understand how work really happens before asking it to help.

Use Discover when:

• A workspace is being set up for the first time.
• A user's role, responsibilities, or handoffs changed.
• The team wants Flora to understand a recurring workflow before building an agent, skill, or document workflow around it.

What Flora learns

Discover can collect three kinds of context:

• Company context: teams, locations, systems, priorities, vocabulary, and operating guardrails.
• Role context: what one person is responsible for, which decisions they make, and where handoffs happen.
• Workflow context: the trigger, actors, inputs, outputs, exceptions, and success criteria for one recurring workflow.

Company context

Company context covers the baseline operating model: teams, locations, source systems, priorities, guardrails, vocabulary, and the rough cadence of work.

This gives Flora enough shared background to avoid asking the same setup questions in every chat.

Role interview

The role interview captures how one user works. It focuses on responsibilities, decisions, handoffs, risks, blockers, workflows, and preferences.

This is personal operating context. It does not replace role permissions or module access.

Workflow discovery

Workflow discovery captures one recurring workflow in detail. Flora should learn the trigger, actors, source records, systems, handoffs, outputs, exceptions, success criteria, and current pain.

If the workflow is abstract, give Flora one real recent example. A concrete example makes the saved workflow more useful for later agent and skill creation.

How to start

Open /setup/flora for company setup and /setup/profile for role and workflow discovery. If you are already in chat, ask Flora to run workflow discovery for one recurring workflow you do often.

Discover saves setup context so Flora can reference it in future conversations. Discover answers provide background for better responses. They do not grant Flora permission to take actions on your behalf without your confirmation.
