Setup flow

New users sign in to the beta app and complete the setup prompts before relying on Flora for operational answers. Setup gives Flora the company and role context it needs to avoid generic responses.

Start with:

  1. Sign in to the beta app.
  2. Complete /setup/flora if the workspace setup prompt appears.
  3. Complete /setup/profile when profile context is requested.
  4. Open /dashboard to confirm the workspace loads.
  5. Open /agent to ask one grounded product or company question.

Discover runs within the setup and profile flows. It captures your company context, role responsibilities, and recurring workflows so Flora can give better answers from day one.

What to prepare before setup

Bring the basic context a landscape team would expect:

  • Company name and operating footprint.
  • Your role and daily responsibilities.
  • The customers, properties, or services you need to work with.
  • A small set of trusted SOPs, site documents, proposal examples, or service catalogs for the knowledge base.

First useful actions after setup

After setup, a good first pass is:

  • Upload a small set of important documents to the knowledge base.
  • Confirm customer and property records exist.
  • Run Discover for one recurring workflow the team wants Flora to understand.
  • Ask Flora a question that depends on uploaded material.
  • Capture or review one field workflow such as a Field Snap, huddle, or plant-health assessment.

What good looks like

After setup, Flora should be able to answer basic questions about HeyFlora features, search approved uploaded documents, and use the customer or property context you choose. If Flora asks for information the product can already look up, check whether the right records and permissions are available.

Admin note

Setup does not replace role and module access. Users still need the right company roles and modules to see protected pages and invoke protected agent tools.
